Consumer Rights Japan launched on March 15, 2020 which date is known as a World Consumer Rights Day. It is the day that all consumers and consumer related organizations to realize and emphasize our rights and responsibility to create the better world. The better world means not only for Japan but also for the consumers around the world.

We are facing so many difficulties and need to reconsider from consumer protection point of view.

e.g. digital economy unsafe and not trust-worthy for consumers, food safety/product safety/service safety is crucial for our lives, fair and accurate labeling is essential need for everyone, effective consumer education, sustainable consumption for the future generation.

It is certain that we cannot solve these issues by one country or by one organization.

Consumer Rights Japan will try to work for all consumers through the domestic and international partnerships.
